v1.20.0: Navigation Revamp
SFDevTools has a new navigation shell: a left rail replaces the old top navbar, paired with a breadcrumb header for org and connection context. Every major tool has been visually refreshed to match.
New Tools & Features
- Left Rail Navigation: A persistent left rail replaces the top navbar, grouping tools into AI, Org Tools, and Platform sections for faster access.
- Breadcrumb Header: A new header shows your current org/connection context and doubles as a single connection switcher.
- Command Palette Refresh: The command palette (quick launcher) has been restyled with the same AI/Org Tools/Platform grouping as the left rail.
Enhancements
- Home: The Home launcher has a refreshed look consistent with the new navigation shell.
- Profile: Profile identity is now shown in the header, with Company settings relocated and the Connections card re-skinned.
- Query Perry, Apex Executor, Schema Browser, Apex Log Manager, SwitchBoard, Security Auditor, Field Usage Sniper, Data Porter, Org Health, Platform Event Manager, WhoDunnit, Permissions Matrix, AFQ: Visually refreshed to match the new design, including a shared table-header style across tools.
- AI Agent: Chat bubbles restyled with clearer avatar and role distinction between your messages and the agent's.
- AI Dashboards: Dashboard gallery refreshed with a functional breadcrumb for navigation.
- AI Agent: Added a pending indicator during longer response lulls, and raised the per-turn step cap so more complex multi-tool requests can complete.
Bug Fixes
- AI Agent: Fixed an issue where certain artifacts could fail to reopen.
- Fixed the connection switcher to preserve your current search/filter state when switching orgs.
