About SFDevTools
SFDevTools started out of frustration. We'd open Setup to check one field, and twenty minutes later we'd still be clicking through page layouts, profiles, and object managers trying to find what we came for. Every task meant a new tab, a new tool, or a spreadsheet to track what we'd already checked.
We're Salesforce developers and admins ourselves. We've built on the platform for years, across orgs of every size and shape. We built SFDevTools because we wanted the tool we couldn't find anywhere else.
We believe Salesforce tooling can be as fast and as keyboard-driven as the rest of modern software development. The native Lightning UI is built for point-and-click configuration, not for developers moving quickly across orgs, schemas, and queries. We wanted something built around how we actually work.
Today SFDevTools is 16 tools in one place: a SOQL editor with intellisense, a security auditor, a schema browser, an Apex executor, debug log management, platform events, and more, all connected across as many orgs as you manage. Everything is multi-org from the ground up, with color-coded org switching so you always know where you are.
We also built an AI agent that can query your orgs, read your schema, and build dashboards from what it finds, in plain language. Not a chatbot bolted onto a help page. This is what we think AI for Salesforce should feel like: an agent that actually has access to your data and your metadata, and can act on both.
SFDevTools is free during beta. We're building in the open and want feedback from people who use Salesforce every day. If that's you, we'd like to hear from you.
